Celebrate the 40 years for the Midas Owners Club, which was first formed in 1985 by Colin Spencer to promote interest in Midas Cars and provide information to Midas owners.

Celebration, Show & Museum in 1 ticket!

Your ticket won’t just gain you entry to the Midas Owners Club 40th Anniversary celebration, you’ll also be able to explore the National Metro & Mini Show supported by Peter James Insurance, which will also be happening on 1 June at the British Motor Museum. This is the main event of the year for owners of Metros, classic Minis and Modern MINIs to come together and enjoy a great day out.

The National Metro & Mini show is always a big hit with families too! If you, your parents or grandparents owned a Mini or Metro, the displays are sure to bring back nostalgic memories. Tickets for the show include entry to the Museum and Collections Centre, giving you the chance to see over 400 more cars from our fabulous collection. Inside, you will find some of the most historically important Metro and Mini vehicles, such as the last Rover 100 produced, signed by almost 1200 people involved in Metro production. In addition, there will be the very first Mini ‘621 AOK’, the very last classic Mini produced at Longbridge ‘X411 JOP’ and the Monte Carlo Rally winning Minis of 1964, 1965 and 1967, among many more, for you to see.

There will be an arena where clubs will be talking about their cars and what makes them special for their owners. The event will even be joined by a Retro Singing Group to entertain us over the day with some 1960s,70s and 80s hits.

When you’ve worked up an appetite from seeing the displays, you can refuel yourself at the Junction 12 Café in the Museum, serving delicious meals, sweet treats and refreshments. Alternatively, you can find quick bites such as burgers and ice creams available outside, too.

On the same day as this year’s show, the Ford Transit Van Club will also be hosting a celebration of 60 years of the Ford Transit and putting on a display of over 75 Ford Transits from across the years including the earliest known Ford Transit from 1965. This early Ford Transit appeared in the 1998 Avengers Film painted black, and has now been restored back to its original white colour.
