Dont worry. The paint is peeling in mine so it looks tired. Sad thing is you cant see all the magic as its hidden away. :?

Wont be coming in the Convertible this year as I need to get some bigger battery cable....Another tip. Put the battery in the boot....and use 35mm battery cable. Means you can actually get at the engine a lot better.

I will be in the Coupe though. Just need to change the clutch as its starting to go....Thats what happens when you have 135 horses or more on an A series AP race clutch.

;) well its a start.

I make my own goodridge hoses up and throw the copper pipes in the bin (ie I make longer ones straight to the t piece) where ever possible. Really easy to make at home.

You are welcome to pop in for a brew anytime.

I wouldnt say I have the best Midas though. Its all subjective I guess. I know theres a K series Convertible lurking thats nice ;)

Russels was a very nice example too. A right Peach to look at.

No I never had any other kit car than the 2 I have. I nearly bought a new GTM Coupe before Midas had the fire. Always liked the Midas ever since I saw the review of the Black one against the Honda back in the day 1980's. When Pastiche started selling it at a price I could afford I bought the white convertible.

I dont mind the latest GTM incarnations though. They are nice. but not into the plague of super 7 lookalikes.

I've been taking a sly look at all those photos you've been posting too, and given a chance for a close-up inspection, I imagine you'd see me drooling. There's some seriously tasty engineering there.

Thank you. Takes a lot of money and patience but they are my little toys. LOL.

Everytime I get in them I have a beaming smile. Not to everyones taste but they do it for me. ;)

A lot of the stuff I did was to iron out things I didnt like. One of them being rust. I had the convertible sat around for a few years and when I came back to it all the work I had done was rusty underneath, hence the reason to go to Ti for instance.

The KAD engine was an indulgence. I looked at them with envy when I was 20. Had to wait 20 years to save up for it ;) but it is a work of art for an A series. I cant stop looking at it .
