does anybody know what i need to cut off my handbrake cable i tried speedy cables but they want 45 quid plus vat and carriage which i cant really afford due to a severe lack of joinery work i only have a few tasks to complete and its ready to rumble any help would be much appreciated the dimensions or even a different cable will help as i have hit yet another wall ps i will add more pics soon as i have done loads in the past few weeks just this god damn hand brake cable is making me wanna cry

I have seen standard metro cables used with the excess length coiled up under the carpet behind the passenger seat. I can't say I remember how well this worked but the cars were on the road so I guess it must have passed the MOT.
