did not make the mot as i hit teething problems as i set off good news is everything is fully complete othere than the extra fuel filters i fitted myself bad news is no mot till next weekend that is on a plus note its now fully insured and i have driven it

found the problem loads of crap in the fuel lines and tank so need to strip the carb again but apart from that everything is going according to plan

Had that happen a few years back, got past one motorway junction to Whitefield, then all the sludge in the tank blocked the fuel lines - not a good experience having no engine on the fast lane doing 80... lol :lol:

thanks manifold i love it only drove it for a day as its not taxed so it will be hitting the road properly on thursday but from the day out i had i enjoyed every last second of it i need to get the gel coat looking better as its looking a bit untidy in places but i will get round to that when i can eventually stop driving it

Im back from Uni in a couple of weeks, but have stupidly entered my Mini into a 'Classic Show at an events hall next to the Trafford Centre then, so will be busy in the garage getting it up to scratch lol :lol: >_<
