Made a small bit of progress

Turbo flange arrived

As well as a super small 100mm denso alternator

Also refitted the rear arms, along with all new brake components. The only "old" part is the back plates.

Done a bit more today

One of my biggest goals is not to modify the car in anyway that can't be undone so when it came to the fuel lines joining up to the tank I didn't want to modify the floor pan. Instead I've decided to run the lines along the top of the tank and then down the side.

And fuel lines in place along with filter (need to install bracket)

Sorry for the rubbish pic but being upside down doesn't really help.

Hopefully when the car is back to normal ride height there will still be plenty of clearance between the lines and coilover, if not then the tank can slide over an inch or 2

Right then it's been a long time since the last post and to be honest pretty much nothing has happened :(

A few little things like the fuel lines are now clipped in place the tank is mounted but now 30mm further towards the drivers side to give extra clearance. But the main bit of progress is the inlet manifold I was going to use a Toyota Corolla manifold welded into the Micra flange ( photo on last page) but I wasn't very happy with how the runners lined up and it made the injector clearance very tight so I've spent a fair bit of time online researching various engines bore spacing.

I ended up taking a punt on a manifold from a Suzuki Alto, when it came it was quickly sized up against a Micra gasket an it's damn close

Image

So off came the flange and it was tried in place, the off set to the passenger side helps with clearance

It's pretty tall but lower than the master cylinder and the bonnet shuts thank God

Image

As it stands now it's just tacked together

Image

This manifold also leaves plenty of room for the injectors

Yep, I doubt I'll be uploading them all again. I'll wait for the dust to settle then decide where to start hosting pics again

They have changed their t&C's and now want $399 to share photos to forums etc. I'm not paying that!

So what is now the favoured way to upload photos?
BTW I tried the forum search for 'photobucket' but it said it's too common a word and wouldn't do it... :?

I'll be honest I haven't looked and I've not really done much on the build that's worthy of posting pictures
