Is that a frame for a Micra engine?

It looks very neat and compact, the frame is a very simple construction, another one for the list!

Merry Christmas to you all.

Alan, you have to go and see Dave's subframe.
It looks very strong especially if you can connect to roll cage, you will be in nice solid shell.. even more so with Midas shells.
He is talking about Honda D16, Z16 and Suzuki Swift Gti engines in his Midas, Clubman estate and Mini Minus-ish shell.....
I have made many laser cut plate for him so watch this space.

Cheers

I like this Nissan subframe. Looks neat with those tubes.

I don't like that its only going to suit a left hand drive though. No where to put the cylinders in there for right handlers unless using some trickery like big chief did with a balance bar or remote cylinders.

Happy Christmas one and all.

The standard injection and manifold allow the brake master cylinder to remain in place. and there are others who have managed the same on carbs similar to this one, I think this one is perhaps lower and further back than some.

Certainly looks at home though

I see what you mean Stuart. Here's me thinking of using individualised throttle bodies for balls out power but yes I guess a single tb will do for more passive power. Quieter generally too.

Kad had a set up like that once in the early days.
