Posted: Sun May 15, 2016 10:30 pmHi, this was my car, thought it might make more than this as I could have taken the engine and box out and sold that plus the wheels and tyres for almost as much!
But I needed to sell it to make room and concentrate on other projects.
As discussed on the forum they are criminaly undervalued they were well engineered and not just some backyard lash-up.
To people like me who grew up with the respect that Midas had from Car and Car Conversations in the 1980`s they were special.
I couldn't afford one then and I'm glad I owned this one for a few years.
It certainly lived up to the hype being better than any Mini I have owned.
The biggest negative was the size!! Fine once you were in,as it had more room and a better driving position than a Mini BUT getting in was a pain.....especially as you get older you forget how all your old injuries come back to haunt you.
