Hi
ta for reply. Do you have a summary etc of car and it's history for me to peruse please. I live in Shrewsbury, Shropshire so it is a fair way to view. I cannot manage this w/e but will try next w/e if convenient.

Hi
Yeh next weekend will be fine.
I have owned the car for about 6 years and in that time it has always been garages and only went out on sunny days to go to car shows. Will have done less that 2000 miles since I have owned the car. It is metro based rather than mini based. Passed it's mot every year. It still has its red gell coat.
It has a fabric roof but it could do with being replaced. It does keep the rain out but has seen better days.

It has mot until end of June.

Need any more info just ask

Hi
I do have a few questions please:

MOT - does it definitely have one til June?
ENGINE 1275 - assume MG or only MG rocker cover?
SUSPENSION - hydragas or convential springs/shocks?
SUBFRAMES - galvanise or not?
SERVICE HISTORY ?
PAPERWORK - V5, log book, build records?
SPARE WHEEL?
SPARES?
Are all parts from donor reg?

If I am happy with car I would like to drive back with it (it is a fair way) so plan to stay overnight. Assume you would want paying with cash and as I don't want to carry that amount on my person , I was hoping to view either Friday/money out Saturday or view Sunday/money out Monday. However (and it is a big however) this depends on my wife being happy to drive back. If not I can come up next w/e on my own and collect the following w/e, when my son will be available.

Il answer what I can

Mot runs out on June 30th
The donor car was a Austin metro E933 EFR. The engine and all running gear are from that car
I think it is gas suspension but I will check as I am going to go in it now
Not sure about the sub frames so I will say no.
I have got some service history but not sure if it is complete.
I have the v5 I have all the sva certificates on other paperwork to say it has all been built correctly
I'm sure it has a spare wheel but will check
I have a folder full of paperwork.

I am happy with cash or bank transfer if that's better for you. Saves you carrying cash.

Hope this helps. Any more questions just ask
