123 Ignition Programmable Electronic Distributor (SOLD)

Postby manifold » Sun Aug 16, 2009 3:19 pm

An 'as new' programmable 123 Electronic Ignition Distributor for the A plus engine. For those that cant be bothered making a wiring loom, fitting trigger wheels and sensor housings, using a laptop etc and all that goes with other electronic ignitions systems here is the 123 Distributor.

Body seems to be made out of stainless so wont rust and houses the electronics inside. Different ignition curves to suit different engine scenarios.

Same company produces up-rated distributors for Aston Martin, Jaguar, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo.

Like many 'toy' projects I fitted this to an engine, turned the engine over once and then decided to go down a different route for my power-plant which doesn't require this system.

Heres a link to the manufacturer

Minispares are selling these for £276/£320.85 plus postage.

I'm after £180.00 OVNO which is a very large saving over new.

NB. The first photo is the actual distributor. The other photos are taken from the minispares site where I bought it from as an example.

Kind regards,
