it might be a bit late now but here are some photo's of brackets I made for mine (LVT 430 V) after a stub axle failure documented in a TGT cant remember the issue number. One thing I did was to buy some uprated stubs from KAD

Are these for the Gold? If so some drawings would be very much appreciated Ted. Got waylayed messing around with subframe designs and these fell on the backburner

On mine there is a slot where the handbrake cable fits. How does the handbrake hook up to this one?

Hello all,

There may be an improved version of Stuart's and mine, extended stub axle being made by another Midas owner. I asked him at Stoneliegh if he was prepared to make some extras. I will speak to him again if anyone is interested!

I would happily pay in advance for a pair and going by the discussions on this forum and the metro owners forum I'm sure we could get enough people together to make a bulk order feasible

hello all ,to answer a few questions ahh wolfie these are for a mini based midas I've not seen the rear arms for a gold but I assume they are for a metro so i don't know if they'll fit .
For Hans they fit over original handbrake bracket ,with suitable spacing washer on top fixing .I did not think of combining handbrake fixture when I made them.
So THESE are for a mini rear arm MK1/MK2 midas.
Also for the mini rear arms you can get uprated stub axles from KAD in two forms a, standard size damper fixing 3/8ths inch I think, or b,1/2 inch damper fixing they are made out of a top grade material originally for racing as the standard fixing is not designed to take the loading of a coilover suspension setup I had a failure IT IS NOT A PLEASANT EXPIRIENCE !!!! be warned. In reality you probably only need to make a half tidy bracket to put the loading thru the backplate fixings.
hope this helps regards......Ted
