I'm after a Mk2 (or Mk1) project car and have a fairly small budget of up to £400. I can pay less if possible :lol:

MUST have V5 docs and glass inc windscreen. Condition of the car is not too important as I intend to strip and rebuild (and possible fuel inject eventually). I am based in Ipswich so don't want to travel much more than 150 miles if possible! PM me if you know of one.

I remember it Jon there was no V5 with that one - is it likely to have been registered in the past? Don't want to take a chance on something that I might not be able to put back on the road if it has to be SVA'd... I'm not sure how much work a 70's designed kit car would need for the SVA!

I did get intouch with the lad and apparently it did have the chassis number on its plate, so it will have been registered at somepoint

I dont think having a chassis number means it has been registered.....
