Help! Anyone near Tamworth?

Postby Rich » Sat Sep 29, 2012 8:59 am

I'm desperately trying to find someone willing to pick up and post on an item for me in Tamworth. It's a big ask I know but if you don't ask you never find out.

The seller won't post and won't pack up for a courier unfortunately.

Naturally I'll cover costs, time and materials.

Might be worth stating size of item rich? I pass Tamworth every weekday albeit by train and on my bike but if its bigger than a back pack could be hard work for me!

Hi James,

Good thought! It's a pair of metro hubs, so not massive, just heavy.

Hi Dave,

That's very decent of you thank you. I'll hold your offer in reserve if that's ok?

I'm hoping I can get them to accept me sending up the packaging and arranging a courier so all they have to do is seal it and put it outside. The laugh is they reckon they are too busy, just as I head into a 72 hour week..

Rich if you ask the guy if he could meet at Tamworth train station or how far away he is and let me know I can consider collection via cycle :)

It's all sorted now thank you, the hubs were picked up this morning by Puddlejumper from the Metro Forum.

Thank you for the offers of help, it has been greatly appreciated.
