Gold Mk3 part search!

Hi all

I have discovered that the engine fan connector out of the loom is missing on my car - no wonder the fan never switches on !!

Rimmer brothers say there is no chance ever in getting a new, old stock, replacement !!

Does anyone happen to have one hanging about looking for a good home? Or....know where there just might be one ? :D

It is the twin conductor connector, oval in shape that fits into the side of the fan motor housing.

Cheers

Dave

Have you tried vehicle wiring products? They stock quite a range of connectors.

If all fails, you get get remote switches that are pushed between the radiator blades. Probably not as precise, but they are used frequently in the kitcar world because many cars use general purpose radiators without built in switches. Usually you can adjust the temp on which they need to switch on.

Hi Hans, it isn't the switch I am missing, but the harness connector to the fan motor....seems to be so rare Indiana Jones might be needed to find one !! :D
