That one has been commented on in two other threads. See: Interesting new convertible & Questionable opinion about Q regs.......
It is clearly a project car as it is currently a non runner.

If you are after a road ready car then posting on here is a good start, as is keeping an eye on what crops up on ebay.
Alternatively, you could try coming along to one of the events - the next one is at Prescott next weekend May 9th & 10th and then at Castle Combe on 20th June - and waving some readies at a Gold convertible owner.

Good evening gents,Thank you for your posts.
Regarding what I want, I would need to be able to drive it back to Cornwall, would like the car as stock as possible (more show than go really)
In truth, hopefully I can find somebody on the forum who has too many or needs to change their car. I am not keen on the bidding on ebay idea, especially on something
I havent seen ??!! Old school, cash in pocket stuff for me.

Appreciate you taking the time to help, thank you all.

I notice you are also advertising for a Quantum 2 + 2. Are you after both or whichever comes up first? I have one of each, neither of which I am particularly thinking of selling. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.

I am interested in either, its about getting a sensible car at a sensible price. I like simple mechanics, the only alteration to our Rickman Rangers is the addition of Accuspark electric ignition. The A series engine really fits the bill for me. The GRP body work is a no-brainer for us, I am so close to the coast, metal cars rot away in front of your eyes.
It seems there are more Quantams out there and they seem to be cheaper to purchase. What is putting me off is the engine options in some of the Quantams. A nice stock early fiesta
lump would be good.
I would be interested in hearing your Pro / Con list, if you have the time. For example does the Gold have more cabin room than the Bronze coupe I owned previously.
Any advise would be appreciated, Thank you.
