Am after one that can be driven as is, anything from very smart to a bit shabby. Not looking for a convertible (though would if only someone made a fastback style hardtop like Ashley once did for MG Midget and I think MGB). Prefer road tax exempt or close to it, and not so keen on the Q plate

I would rather pay a bit more for a sound runner than a rough car, but would consider lousy paint if the price reflected this.
