pile of junk that looks like a Bronze

Another from the very ground up project of a Midas Bronze. Possibly incomplete (no bonnet?) and a high starting price:

Advert says it has a bonnet but with out a reg or V5 it'll be a dear one to put back on the road (no thanks)

I think he's being a little hopeful there, no ID is a killer.

I would have thought pretty easy. The main issue is cost.

Around £540 I've heard if you don't buy the manual :o Don't forget its first registration fee then tax etc
pushes that unfinnished project over the grand mark and you haven't started the interior yet

Best then to buy the other mk1 shell. If the Midas bits are all there, the rest can be sourced and no trouble with the SVA.

You guys are being pretty unkind to this Midas! It's worth buying just for the parts, go and try and buy a 1275 engine, you will probable have to pay close to that for the engine alone! Then there are the wheels etc. The body looks to be in good condition probably because it has never been on the road. So it looks a good and cheap project! with regards to not being registered, come on start thinking out of the box! It is certainly in better condition than the registered car!

The answer is to buy two!

I would like to remain anonymous in case the DVLA are watching!
