I like the color! Tres chic! Just 1 tip: ditch the seats!

It looks like it has the Rover 200 dash.

I'm sure I remember those seats somehow. I'm sure Andy Murrays car had similar seats in when Clive (Charlies son) did some paintwork on it years ago seem to remember helping put some bits back on it one weekend or during the school holidays. Might be the brain cells though!!!

cheers,

Mike

I recall his car. It was shown in Which Kit november 1991. And looking at the numberplate it WAS Andy Murrays car. So it's a Pastiche car, not a GTM one.

Yep the archive CD pics confirm it and the seats are in the pics, at least my memory is not going la la. The seats weathered pretty well all things considered. If memory serves it had a full respray which means it was fairly new when it was painted I think it got dropped off at the Sandown Park show. So it's been painted twice now looks quite smart in blue and a less common colour than it's original red, must also be a reasonably well priced job as the engine bay has been done.

Cheers,

Mike

Nice to see the sister convertible to mine ;). I didnt recognise it in the lovely blue colour it is now. It used to be red.

Its one digit different to mine on the (odd) Pastiche Chassis numbering system and I built it at the same time.

Andy was a nice chappie to share build notes with back in the day.

I believe it even went sight seeing in Paris. ;)

Is that the one that had the big stereo and gold revolutions with centre covers? if so I got taken for a spin round the roads near Stoneleigh one year.

missus has just been looking at it and I must admit I might take a punt on it but the seats would have to go. Need to ask him what the reserve is tho
