It's not sold yet :) . I have to see in this economic climate if it fetches that much money.

According to the engine bay plate it is D&H built, now I'm not up on Mini Marcos's could some kind soul tell me if all D&H's were Mk4 or was the Mk4 introduced by Harold? What changes were made to the Mk3?

I bet someone posts a link to something like www.thiswebsitetellsyouallaboutminimarc ... .co.uk.net

The unsuccessful launch of the four-seater Mantis, the costs of moving to a new factory and an unsuccessful venture into the American market led to the collapse of Marcos Cars Components Limited in 1971. The company was bought by Rob Walker's Corsley Garages (owned by the famous formula 1 privateer) and traded as Marcos Limited. The Mk. IV Mini Marcos was introduced by this company. The body was substantially updated, with a new floor pan based on the Mini Traveller and a rear hatch as standard. It was longer and taller than its predecessors, giving more interior space and a better driving position.

Wow Stuart less than ten minutes, you must know some stuff do you want to join my pub quiz team?

Actually the only reason that I dont do pub quizzes is that someone with a smidgen of knowledge about Coronation Street usually wins, this and the fact that the more I drink the thicker I become and drinking is the only reason I know for visiting pubs.

Anyway thanks for the illumination re Marcos.
