Extremely tempting but way to far away and wrong time of year money wise.....plus the missus may rip off a part of my body I'm quite fond of

Tempting - check.
Wrong time of year - check.
The missus may inflict bodily harm - check.

Not too far away though. Hmm... :D

Sort of saying helo and saying this is now part of what seems to be a growning collection of cars.

Car is is pretty good conditionsince it has not seen the road in 25 years, the carpets have had it but we'll be able to use them as templates to make new ones mechanically it seems ok and parts already bought for it are : 7 x 13 revoulution wheels, disc brakes and various gaskets, plugs etc.
Currently is a non-runner but wont be long getting it going.

Cylinder head was partly off for some reason and the bores are fine, engine turns over on the starter.

I used to sprint and hill climb a Mini in Scotland and know the engines inside out. I had a mini Marcos before so this is not that unfamiliar.
Will post up some pics as the work progresses.

Thx Manifold, I'll put the proper write up in the correct section but suffice to say after over an hours worth of steam cleaning to see what we had, all was not bad, a few crazes around ther winscreen and bonnet but not too bad. I have a fair knowledge of fiberglass having had a marcos, a tvr, two lotus, and currently have a Darrian GTR as well - this is easy in comparision!
