Here is some rare Midas Gold & Midas Gold Convertible original brochures and sales documents for sale in what appears to be 'as new condition'. Worth a look !!

I think this information is becoming a bit thin on the ground these days.

Given that you appear to be the seller why not just say they are in as new condition? no need to give the impression they're not yours.

Scans of these are available on the archive site for anyone not wanting to spend money on brochures. For anyone wanting to spend money on brochures (as I do), occasionally original brochures packages can be bought for between 2 and 6 pounds per model (as I did).

Yes you can buy these brochures for £10 each sellotaped together in a tatty condition, there's one on ebay now - starting bid £9.99. if you don't mind what rubbish documentation you put with the car and yes you can download part of a Midas Brochure on offer from websites, again this is probably something I would do if I had barely a passing interest in the car. If however, you genuinely interested in the cars I would want the correct paperwork to go with it. I suppose it boils down to how fastidious you are and weather you have an 'anything will do' attitude or not. At the end of the day it's about standards with the car you own and the documentation you have with it.
Yes, the brochures are for sale by myself and I didn't wish to ram my sale down anyone’s throat, hence the polite way I have presented them. As said in the ad ' I would like the information to go to a keen enthusiast who will appreciate this rare information. ' and this is precisely what I wish. If you are not interested in my sale this is fine but wish you would have the courtesy not to slag off a sincere and genuine offer.

Hello McCoy391.

I administer this forum. I think it was perhaps that you didn't introduce yourself to the forum and rather went straight in with a 'sell' in wording which appears to hide that its from you thats doing the selling on Ebay which has peaved some of our forum members who probably think it rude. I am sure you would get the same response on a lot of other car forums too doing this as I have seen it myself as its quite often considered a form of spam.

Anyway, I'm glad that you have now gone out of your way to explain your motives.

I wish you all the best in your sale. I hope you do get the amount you are asking as it will reflect nicely on our cars future value too.

Sorry you don't have an interest in these cars as they are quite a hidden gem.

Kind regards,

David

I have a very strong interest in Midas cars in fact I owned a Midas Gold which is why I happen to have these documents in my possession for sale. As stated 'I would like the information to go to a keen enthusiast who will appreciate this rare information.' I'm at a loss over your comment 'you don't have an interest in these cars ' have you read my previous post ?

Hans, that's a good buy. It makes my brochures look a little pricy but they are mint.

Thank you for the post & courtesy.

If my brochures sell or not, I would just like to thank all forum members for at least looking. - David
