Hello from Miniswift

Postby miniswift » Tue Dec 13, 2011 2:51 pm

Hi,

I'm buying a mk1 from Alan D and will be fitting Suzuki Swift Gti engine with turbo. It won't be a FWD car but it will become a RWD 2+2.
The Deal is made and like Alan, I'm a dreamer but I have all of parts to make it reality.... like Alan :ugeek: .
I hope by me doing this to mk1... I hope I don't upset anyone  . Oh well Midas is a kit car after all so I can do what I want with it to make it mine!

Wish me luck
Cheers

hi Atchi,
good luck to you, and I agree we have complete freedom to 'improve' our cars as we feel fit.
I suspect you'll find the most useful tools in the conversion will be the headache tablets and a big tub of vaseline to squeeze the engine in!
A rear wheel drive 16v 1.6l turbo Midas will be spectacular to drive.
Do post up your progress to inspire the rest of us.

Hi,

It will be G13B 1300cc DOHC engine. It is good engine for producing about 240Bhp with a TD04 turbo.
In standard NA form, it has 105Bhp. I will try to make a build diary!

Cheers

Welcome to the forum Atchi,

Maybe now we are working together, we might get some results on both the Mini and Midas's!
