I'm Andy. Some of you may have come across me on other mini/metro based places.

My main stay is minis. My SC12 Supercharged Clubman is nearly done.

Me and a friend did dable with a turbo charged metro van for a few years, but that is now sold.

And onto the reason I am here. I'm in the middle of buying something plastic and mini based that requires an IVA before it can hit the road. It's not a midas, but I thought this would be be the best place to come for advise and guidance.

Welcome aboard Andy, your 1275 GT is rather nice.

I wonder what the plastic car is ?

Thanks. I'm 5 years in on the clubman. The shell is about 60% new metal.

As for the plastic one, would anybody care to take a guess? There has been one example on this forum before.

My particular intended car is currently a rolling tub, but will be stripped and started from scratch.

Hello Andy and welcome to forum.

I'm intrigued as to which plastic car you are building.

I'm looking for new wheels and wondered which wheel were fitted to your Van?

It is, you get the spot prize. It currently looks more like a pond liner, but I have biggish plans for it. Unfortunately they are a little bit hampered by the time and budget restraints imposed by having a baby, but that's life...

The wheels on the van where Ronals, fitted to MG Metro Challenge race cars. Quite rare these days. That particular set are now in Malta.
