David Manifold builds bonnets for Golds, maybe these fit?

I don't think they do Hans. I have a feeling the bronze is narrower. Mine all have the air vent in too. I do have a real old Mk3 bonnet for sale though in blue. Needs a respray. Twin vent model.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the replies about the bonnet ( I've only just read them!. manifold says he has a mk 3 bonnet. Can I post a picture of my car somewhere for a shape check? The one I have has now had a carbon fibre rap, which covers the gel cracks well but I am still looking for a replacement.

Justin,
It would be possible to convert a Mk3 bonnet to fit a Bronze, but it would be an awful lot of work. As you can see from the pictures the Mk3 is a lot longer, you would have to reshape the trailing edge around the air inlet and the profile around the headlamps is significantly different. The overall width across the main part and the bit between the lights is more or less but not exactly the same. In places you'd have to cut stuff off, and in others add material, and that's even without sorting out the internal structure.

Thanks for putting the pics on jon, they say it all. I think it would be easier for me to remold my bonnet when I do a respray.
