Thanks Stuart. I'm beginning to wonder if anything is still available in Metro fitment. Was there something unusual about it?

There have been Mini versions of that wheel on ebay recently, Mini wheels don't have the inset that Metro wheels have, and the centre bore on most Mini wheels isn't as large as required to fit the Metro.

Thanks for the info Stuart. I have no info about the wheels apart from an invoice I got with all other bills when I bought the car.

I have the same ones for my Mk2 along with some other TSWs. They are pretty smart but I'm having to play around with spacers for the rear wheels

Justin now has my Cortez and has a series of jobs lined up for this weekend. By Stoneleigh next year, I think he could well be a contender for "Most Improved Midas".
Tomorrow I will transfer the insurance back to the Excelsior and get it re-tested. After standing outside since January, it started up after about 5 seconds churning and everything seems to work
