Does anyone know what lock mechanism is used on the tailgate of the Bronze? I cant see it listed in the factory manual.

If you are talking about the rear window lock, that's not from a car. It is a general supply lock also to be found on lockers (schools, gyms etc.). I found them in stock at a local coach building company (busses and trucks). Maybe you can find them at a hardware store as well.

Thank you Hans. I thought it looked like a domestic part, but had expected it to be a 'motor 'item.

Try car builder solutions glove box latch, looks very similar.

PETE,

I bought one from CAMLOCK EXPRESS on line. It cost me 4.98 including postage. It was size 5 ,32 mm long. It fitted perfectly.
