Doesn't really look if it will fit, but hard to say from a picture of course.

It looks different to mine from memory.

The fixings at the back look different, plus I think its for the later filler cap (without the fuel flap).

It may be made to fit though. Anyone one else have an idea or done this?

From memory this is the one I bought for the Convertible. It needed a little fettling but no real dramas.

I ordered the tank that Rich showed me. Now I just hope that my corrent sender unit will fit in it, or else it's time for another parts hunt

Repaired the leaking heater yesterday, and replaced the gear linkage seals. Now fitting the heated windscreen, tankand exhaust are the only main things left to do.
(and bleeding the breakes, but that should be easy)

Smallish update.
The new heated windscreen was fitted yesterday (heating not connected yet).

Fuel tank finally hasd been ordered and shipped, after some other sellers didn't seem to be very eager to sell something.

To do list:
- Install fuel tank
- Install exhaust
- Install new battery tray
- Reinstall small stuff like the mirror and windscreen wipers
- Replace wheel bearings
- Replace front tires (one of them runs flat every few days. It might be the wheel itself, but I assume there's just a hole in the tire)
- Fill up all the fluids
- Get a Dutch registration

Then there are of course a ton of other things to do, like connecting the heating for the windscreenand installing a proper sound system, but that's all stuff for later. First I want to drive!

Hi Martine,
If the tyre is in good condition it's just a matter of finding the leak and have it plugged. Costs about 10 euro's. If there is no leak, it must be corrosion on the rim of the wheel. Have the tyre removed, clean the edge of the wheel and check for corrosion pitting. If it's acceptable, have the tyre reinstalled with plenty of grease on the edges. I had a similar problem and after reinstallation the tyre did not run flat anymore.
