Nostalgia Warning

Postby mikeeskriett » Mon May 09, 2011 9:45 pm

Hi all,

I was rooting around in the loft looking for my copy of Colin McRae 2.0 for a bit of retro racing on the playstation when I came upon an old CD of photos from the Midas Factory Open Day / AGM from 2000. Picture quality is not much but that was a whole 1.2 megapixels of absurdly expensive digital camera!!

I think this is Zandvoort (sorry Hans if this is mis-spelt)

Eric Siddons Midas, if it has a new home I also have a copy of a story written about it on the CD.

John Crowson's Midas which became home for the MOC engine.

Yep,that's the Zandvoort British Racing Festival.
Nice pics Mike, I've got a zillion like that as well and also big envelopes with pics from Colin Spencer and Mike Perkins. If you want to have a blast from the past, you should see these! Men with big moustaches!
Which actually is a very good idea. I already have uploaded to flickr the best pics of my collection, but I can see how to digitize the best of these old pics and upload them to a "Midas history" dir on my flickr account.
