A series animation!

Postby Maphet » Sat Jun 30, 2012 9:26 pm

I saw this and can't quite believe the amount of effort that must have gone into it:

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, once I go my jaw off the floor.

Sorry that I missed it the first time around. I guess I need to work on my engine identification skills.

It's not a B Series either, they were Austin/Morris, the Spitfire uses a Standard derived lump. The 1500 version was used to replace the 1275 A Series in the MG Midget.
1500 Midget owners get upset it you suggest their car is a Triumph Healey Sprite with an MG badge on it.

It's a crap engine that triumph 1500 in the spitfire/late spitfires. Over stroked and very prone to throwing rods. Started life similar to the a series at 803cc or so but they over did it. Nice video though!
