hi all,
I have just got the midas back on the road after 5 yrs.
All OK except front suspension is rock hard (perhaps less than 1 inch movement).
I have modified spheres with the valve on top.
Questions:
Can hydragas be setup to give proper damping . I.e without every road bump crashing through the body shell and jarring your teeth? (it must be possible because a metro would not have been so bad?)
How much suspesion travel could you expect.
How much clearance from front tyre to wheel arch when setup correctly. I currently have only about 1 to 2 inches.
How do I re-pressurise the nitrogen? I can do the fluid from a hydragas pump off eBay.
Thanks in advance for any help here. I must sort this out soon before all my fillings fall out.
