Hi Alan,

Screen print for me too, If I'm able to pay the deposit

Don't worry Nico,

I have you down for a screen, just send me the deposit next week. You should have the correct bank details now. the bank account is confirmed as working OK and accepting electronic transactions.

With regards to the screen print, It looks like there is not a lot of enthusiasm for the idea!

I intend placing the order on Friday as previously stated.

So one day left and then it going, going, going Gone!

Last orders please is there anybody else?

Hello All,

just an update, I have now ordered 25 HF screens. I have still not cashed any cheques as yet. But I will probable cash them next week.

I've been trying to ring our suppler, in an effort to obtain a delivery date. But I think he is on holiday!

Alan D. wrote:Hello everybody,

This is just a quick post as I don't have a lot of time at the moment.

But I've been trying to track down the windscreen rubber and I think that I have found it.

http://catalogues.kellysearch.com/catal ... -location=

The model numbers is IRS 1724 W/S

It's £3.23 per metre!

Does anyone recognise the profile?

Alan

I've just measured a windscreen, rubber and body.

The windscreen is 5.6mm thick and the body from around 4mm to 6mm thick, so although the seal you chose has the right profile it isn't going to fit.

So its either a 6mm 6mm one 0r 4mm 6mm 0ne on this page http://catalogues.kellysearch.com/catal ... pg=83&cn=1

The gap between the edge of the body and the edge of the windsreen inside the seal is 5.6mm, those seals looks a little larger in that dimension though.

Hello all,

Just got another post from our HFS suppler:

Hi mate

Please see attached drawing for your approval
It looks ok to me but I thought you would like to see it

Cheers

Rick

There is a drawing of the new screen attached to this post, but I don't seem to be able to upload it. I've asked David M. if he can help! So hopefully you will be able to see the drawing later.

Hi All,

More news,

I've spoken to our supplier today and we are expecting delivery at the end of April. So distribution at Stoneliegh is on the cards. So you had better start saving up the pennies. I will be banking the deposit cheques later next week. The supplier has paid for the screens today. So we are now committed. I have taken a chance and ordered a few extra screens, because some may be broken in transit and I don't want anybody to miss out due to short supply. So with a bit of luck there may be some screens spare for any late comers, but there are no guarantees.

The drawing of the screen which I received, I haven't managed to download. But it shows the screen divided up into two areas, with bus-bars at the bottom and the electrical tails at the bottom of the screen. With the words "Power for the windscreen is approximately 180W(2 zones 7,5A/12V).

Hello Geoff,

I’m sending the below email to you individually as the group email, which I sent was bounced back from your server!

Hi All,

Just to let you all know I will be banking the deposit cheques later today.

I’m expecting delivery to be at the end of April, for distribution at the Stoneleigh kit car show on the 3rd & 4th of May (I think).

So I will need all of your final payments early next week, in order to get the cheques banked and cleared in good time!

Ricky, our supplier is on holiday in Australia, so I await his return before I can get an update on delivery.

Regards Alan
