Hi all,

the Stoneleigh national kit car show is coming up- its only round the corner from where I live so provided that my car passes its MOT this week then I will be aiming to get there for at least one of the days that it's on.

Is anybody else going?

I'm interested to know if I can just drive in and head to the midas stand with my car or if I have to pre-book anything...the website says that it's free entry for kit car drivers but does this entitle me to go to the club area or just to park up on the grounds? I don't want to enter any competitions or anything like that but it would be good to generate some interest.

By all acounts I'll probably look to sell the Midas in the near future (as some on here are aware of) and thought that the kit car show would be a good place to start, you never know I might be persuaded to keep the car and join up ;)

Yes just roll in any time, drivers gain free entry, passengers pay.

The Midas owners club area is to your right as you enter the show ground (I think) all kit cars that turn up are part of the show, you just need to go in at the right entrance, which being local I imagine you know which that is.

Thanks both, good to know that Sunday is the busier day as I was thinking to go on the Saturday.

Fingers crossed then that the car passes!

Is there normally a good turn out for Midas owners or even those with an interest in Midas?

I think over the two days last year 21 cars attended, peaking at 17 on Sunday, with other people without their cars passing by as well.

If you go on Saturday, you will be disappointed, the show is on Sunday and Monday

that would be tragic! Makes sense that the Sunday is the better day now. Keep forgetting that its a bank holiday.
