mystery Bronze bits

Can anyone identify these parts I found in my mk2 ,our friend Alan recons there for the seat ,can anyone here take a picture of where they go can't find anything on the build manual also found a mystery rubber mounting thingy

I don't recognise the bracket, a custom part or part of a seat as Alan says perhaps :?

Just to clarify my thoughts, I think they may be brackets for the folding rear seat back, but I'm only guessing!!

It's possible they're nothing to do with the Midas, and a previous owner has thrown them in the car in annoyance at forgetting what he made them for, and then putting them out of his mind... ;)

I didn't have a rear seat in my Bronze, and I don't recognise them, so could well be seat parts. Can you give some idea of scale? How thick is the metal, how wide is it, what size are the bolts?

Like you say they could be horn brackets or anything but all the other bits and bobs in the car are definitely Midas or related ie spare bonnet latch,or fiesta bonnet keep.I didn't want to dis-guard them until you fellows had a chance of " OH IT'S A" :D

Your rubber thing looks like a turned down Metro engine mount.
