Holiday Snaps

In twenty-one years of Midas ownership I have never taken a Midas away for a week's holiday as I have always had too much gear, too many people to take, and easy access to a sensible car. This year it was only me and my camping and hill walking kit, and with no sensible car available without hiring one, there was no excuse not to use the plastic rollerskate. According to my GPS I covered a total of 1114 miles in seven days at an average speed of 53.1 mph. I haven't filled the tank since I got back, but over the first 871 mile the fuel consumption was just over 46 mpg.
