It's a great achievement. I believe this forum covers at least 50% of the Midas owners that regularly use their cars. Hopefully many other Midasses will be resurrected over the coming years and hopefully it will stimulate improvements as well. I just called my brother who got his Gold coupe going again after a 3 year winter sleep. He was even more enthusiastic than I usually am to find out how these cars drive. Even with an almost standard 70bhp engine his car is flying. For him it was again an eye opener to find out how much fun there can be in a Midas with its direct contact to the road. Modern euroboxes just transport us (he has a Twingo), but a Midas is so much more.

Thats great Hans!
Another Midas back on the road!
I agree they are great fun. I've used my Coupe as a daily driver these last 3 years and its been a good workhorse too so I am going to give it some treats as a reward.....

As soon as he shows up. Would be nice to have both our cars on the pics, but as usual my car is in pieces. I am renovating the doors and my brother was going to (but still hasn't) weld new metric bolts in the hinges. Anyway plenty to do. I am going to have some paint made that matches the gelcoat, then spray the door handles and Seicento mirrors I bought (still working on how to get these things fixed without drilling extra holes), new weatherseals, window frames sprayed etc. But most important bit is this time to get the doors exactly aligned with the body.

How many of them have actually posted?

I reckon probably half have posted.
There's a lot of lurkers who don't like or want to post, which is fair enough.

That's pretty normal for all forums, the one that mine replaced had over 6000 members registered with probably 150 actually active. Non posting members are deleted from mine after a fair warning due to the problems encountered in the past with troll accounts and so on.

If we go off percentages of forum members who own a midas Alan has got to be top with all of his now
Haven't had a club owner list in a while but going through some old T G T 's there is still a lot more out there to come on here yet ! lets get the word out .
Partly the reason I bought a midas was a good club forum with pleanty of owners who have been there done that sort of help, which I think is worth its weight in Titanium

.I've had any amount of help in the past and hope to in the future but its got to work both ways thats a CLUB.
