There was no way I'd have been able to get to this, this year, for lots of reasons.
Glad it went well though, and the cake sounds intriguing - I'm really sorry I missed that!
Any photos from the event? Including the cake?

There will be a full write up and masses of photos in the next joint magazine. Just a matter of finding a moment or two to write it.
It would be good for attending members to try to write something to go into the same magazine to give your view telling us what you liked and also what else you would like included for future meetings. Similarly we would like to hear from the non member who were on the stand to tell us how we can encourage them to join the Midas Owners Club. The more members the better as it drives down the cost of running these events.
Thank you all for coming.
David Johnson, Membership Secretary

unfortunately, I could not make it with the yellow peril !

Hope it went well, despite the weather?

Now I need to work extra hard to get to the next meet

The weather was really very good. OK it rained before the show started on the Sunday but as per the forecast bang on 11am blue skies appeared and it was excellent.

As for photos here's some of the usual suspects plus some of our newer members and I have to say they were all excellent and I was proud to be a member of the club with such great cars on display. I was rather glad I'd left my Gold Coupe at home and was kinda hoping people might have thought I'd done a magic restoration on it as the LEG one is exactly how mine aspires to be.....

So instead I brought along my orange machine which as you can see Matt took a shine to

Hmmm seems I can only add 3 photos at a time using this method so here's some more....

Thanks, Kelvin!
And not just one cake, but cupcakes too, mmm...
...yes, very sorry to have missed it, but unavoidable this year.

I suppose all the cupcakes were eaten? ;)

I'm afraid that they all went. However, for those who missed out on the cupcakes here is the artwork:

Now all you have to do is go on ebay and find someone selling Edible cupcake toppers, order half a dozen and when they arrive stick them on some cupcakes of your own choice/making

That gives me an idea. Perhaps next year we should have a best Midas cake competition. I'm sure we won't be short of volunteers to judge that one.
