I went, bought some bits, and didn't find a van tank other than a new one and one that was in worse condition than mine.

Couldn't see a Midas anywhere, and as with most autojumbles, there was a LOT of overpriced tut. First stall I went to had an A+ flywheel housing which I needed so I asked the surly looking bloke his price (nothing was marked). He grunted "£25" at me. I put it down having told him it was too much, went to the very next stall and picked up the same bit of kit for a tenner. The (much nicer) guy even put it in a bag for me

Well done, it makes going all that way worthwhile.

thought Bingley Hall was gr8 apart from my confusion as to why someone would trailer cars to shows polished to the hilt and never driven (for those that went I'm talking about the one that had a trailer inside the hall). Want to get the Gold there next year and do shows like Stoneleigh this year if I can actually get it ready. I miss having a garage as I get nowhere near as much done as I could otherwise.
While I'm on here 1 quick question...I no longer have a hefty work bench to rebuild my engine but I've been told that no engine stands can hold the A series as theirs nowhere to bolt it on safely. Is this true or just someone talking crap?

They are talking crap Wolfie. You can fiddle around with washers or make an adapter plate.

Incidentally nice to see a k head on an a series fit in the mini
marcos. I knew they would. Surprised no one has done it in a Midas yet. They are sure to fit.

A lot of the show cars are ornaments, not for me but I quite enjoy seeing them.
