I have started to strip down the rear suspension with a view to rebuilding it on my Mk1 and it appears to have hydrolastic bumpstops on a non-hydro radius arm (mounting pins for the springs are very different on mine to hydro and look the same as dry). Does anyone know if these bumpstops are necessary? Or are they just an "extra precaution"? And will the hydro bumpstops fit a dry radius arm?
