Mmmmmmmh, you've got a point, it means that I may create a new problem if I use Metro 4 pots calipers instead of the standard Mini calipers, interesting….

Okay, I don't want to built a race car, this Mk2 will be mainly used for regularity rallies, so, do you think I should really go for 4 pots, or keep it as it is (ie standard post 84 Mini brakes) ?

Please keep in mind I can do what I want, as I have a set (or more) of each : Mini brakes and Metro brakes, vented or not.

So, your advice please guys ;)

This car has vented Metro front brakes, the wheels are K&N Meteor 5" wide with 165/60x12 tyres.

Well, Stuart, your picture is the best reply I could hope, many thanks !

So, let's go for it, Metro 4 pots brakes with Stainless steel pistons, vented discs and NOS pads.

I didn't drive the car much, but I fitted some cheap black EBC pads and they had far more bite than the standard Austin/Rover Ferodo pads.
