Made an offer now, but it seems like the seller does not want to send the goods abroad, waiting for a reply. The rally went well btw, but the brakes are even more weak after this.

The seller would send to Sweden, so now there´s a new cylinder on it´s way. Took off the old one and yes, the servo was half full of fluid.

Don't throw the old one away. If the cylinder walls are okay it's quite simply to repair.

No I´ll keep it. Looked ok inside, but the seals on the bottom piston was totally perished. Will look for a repair-kit at Beaulieu. Hope the new cylinder will arrive soon, want to get back out on the road.

My "new" brake master cylinder arrived today, in a ziplock bag. I haven't opened it yet, but although it may well be new and unused, it does have a fair bit of corrosion on the machined surfaces, so it hasn't been kept in ideal conditions.

Oh, well. I think I'll keep it as a spare and look for a repair kit for my existing one. I suppose for the price I paid, it wasn't exactly a bad purchase.

Pity no ones asked. I have a spare one I won't be using I could let go reasonably priced.

*facepalm*

Never thought to ask here.

Buying from eBay is very addictive, though. :D

What are you asking for it? Could be a good idea to keep a spare now that we have three Midases in Sweden.

I'm open to offers (plus ship). Its a non oem one but its just the same. You need to reuse existing reservoir with this one.

Got my master cylinder friday, looked really good with only a small spot of surface rust. Will try to find time to finish the swap this week. Hope it will be ok.
