Tyres again

Postby Stairheedrammy » Sat Jun 12, 2021 6:50 pm

I'm thinking of changing from my current 165 65 13s and having read back on the various posts around tyre size and availability I was thinking of trying Nankang 165 55 13s. Has anyone tried them? Second choice would be the same make in 175 50 13s but I wondered if the ride would be too hard. 165 65 13s are most readily available, especially the Toyo's you can get for only £36 each but I'm worried by the previous posts saying that size is likely to catch on the arches when cornering. What are your thoughts?
