Extractor manifold, what fits?

Postby minisweden » Tue Aug 11, 2009 10:12 pm

I have finally started work on my Mk3 Coupe, I am wondering if a extractor manifold for a Mini will fit or if I need something else.
The original system is working fine, but has not got "The Look". Thanks/Ola

I see no reason why an LCB shouldn't fit, I believe you can also get them with a flexible ball-joint join too like the Maniflow down-pipes fitted already I think.

Hi Stuart! So, there is already Maniflow downpipes on the car? Well, I guess that there will be no gain in performance changing to a LCB then. Just thought it would look a bit smarter, and I have a few LCB´s for Mini´s in the garage. I think I will leave it as it is.

Oh by the way, do not be alarmed by my avatar, the Midas is not living outdors all year round. I was just surprised by the first snow last year.

Thanks/Ola

Hi Ola,

As far as I'm aware it does indeed have Maniflow down-pipes on, I believe that set-up more or less replicates an LCB.

It seems the car's pampered and sheltered life continues :) no worries :)
