Just went outside and had a thought; there's loads of space above the Hydragas spheres. And therefore, more height to put in longer springs if you go down this route.

Would there be any advantage with longer springs? I'd thought a bigger range of adjustment, but on the other hand, the springs would be heavier. However, I've managed to lose one and a half stone since last Christmas... ;)
