Heated Windscreen

Postby PeteH » Fri Mar 27, 2015 9:37 pm

:?: This is a first time install of the windscreen and I'm looking for some clues as to how to wire this into the loom! I have fitted another switch into the spare position on the dashboard ready for it, but don't know where to go from here.
Can anyone advise please? (with photo preferably!)

I used the heated rear window circuit and switch.

Hi Pete,
If you look on the HFS thread, there are instructions on there.

It's a long thread Pete. I think it's on this page viewtopic.php?f=41&t=226&start=260

I was speaking to Mike Perkins today, he was wondering how good the fit was of these screens, I mentioned you must have one fitted now?

Hi Pete,
Try page 10 of the thread. viewtopic.php?f=41&t=226&start=90

By the way if anyone requires a screen I still have some available.

Thanks Stuart and Alan for your replies.

Stuart - I haven't yet fitted the screen, as I am just trying to sort out the wiring first!

Alan - p10 of the thread was very useful, however the PDF wiring diagram was no longer attached for some reason. But still useful!
PS what headlights did you use - are they 90mm Hellas?
