:) Yes it was a bit, but they are only small cars with limited electronics (a godsend, although people who know me would think I would want more electronics in it!)

A few photos to wake things up a bit......

Running rather nicely if I say so myself after having the leaky brass bung sorted.

The pics of the wreck you started with are shocking. Amazing what you did with it. And run a company and have a family with kid(s). How do you do it? Are the days longer in Britain than on the main land?
By the way I am going on holiday, so will be off line for a week or so. Nothing here happening anyway with the Midas. Just busy with other things like paperwork, business, garden etc. (somehow my weeks are very short!)
Cheers, Hans

Hi Hans,

I must admit I amaze myself how I get through it all. Dont ask me how. I just dont know :).

Incidently, took delivery of some nice shiny (and very light) driveshafts this week too. Can you guess what they are made of? :). Will be fitting them tomorrow on the Coupe now its all ported up.

I've investigated and discovered that mini upper arms are the same as the metro ones. Although shocker position 'may' be different. We checked them on a special jig. So i've put an order in for some upper arms too.

Maybe we should have a 'showdown' like the minis do......to get peoples creative juices flowing? :).........

Those shafts look nice David :)

I'll guess that they're made of that stuff that doesn't go rusty....... Ti.... 8-)

I also bet they're a bit dearer than those washer-jets that you said were on the expensive side ;)

Interesting info about the top-arms too

here's my new Midas. you might have to squint a bit :)

Why do pictures never seem to display properly on this forum, or is it just me?
