First up: how the car looked on delivery from Pete Brown (the original builder)

UPDATE TIME!
The modification programme moves on, so I thought I would update the photos. Eventually, this thread will have a lot more photos detailing the mods I have done since I bought the car and in preparation for the next owner to have a good history available.
Pic 1: The nearside secondary main beam lamp has been replace with an air intake for the new heater (not for the Carb!!)

Offside rear showing new fuel filler cap. This was required after I took the fuel tank out to repair it and I wanted to update the filler cap (the old one was about to give up the ghost. Note: I have to replace the fuel tank sender unit gasket as soon as the tank is empty because it has a slight leak from when I did the repair last summer.

The middle one of the sprayed finish reminds me of sunset orange which also looks different on almost every photo you see of it.

I hope you are not selling it just yet. It would be a shame not to get your full enjoyment out of it with the amount of work you have done on the car.

Unfortunately Roy, it will have to go soon due to a long term health problem. I estimate by the summer this year :|

I'm sorry to hear that Dave. I have no doubt that you will have no problem selling your Mk3 Coupe. It is one of the best examples out there. If I hadn't got my Mk3 project I would have definitely asked you for first refusal.
Take care.

More Photos:
Recent addition: New centre console. I had to do this to accommodate the new heater (the original Metro unit was the first thing I put in the bin when I got the car !!).
Instruments are: oil pressure (this is at tickover >60psi), vacuum and Air/fuel ratio - spot on at 1 Lambda
