I'm hoping to get up for it, but I will have a young daughter in tow and so I may not be around for long and may be a tiny bit distracted...

Oops, false hope. I have a problem with my throttle cable which makes a 200 mile round trip too risky. Bugger! Oh, well have a good day...

Hi all,
Just a quick note to thank everyone for such a pleasant event and for your forbearance with my youngest. As always, thanks to Alistair and all the old hands for their knowledge and wisdom and the Moss family for the splendid food. Once again an enjoyable and inspirational time - I thought I was starting to get there with mine, but this really reminded me of just how far she has to go. Roll on Castle Coombe.
Cheers,
Matt

Echoing Matt's words - thanks to all concerned for another excellent Open Day. Very encouraging to see such young enthusiasts - lovely centres of attention !! Well done - keep bringing the offspring, please.
Just to remind of Tony's words also - contact him for Castle Combe tickets and info and contact Haynes for tickets for the Rare Breeds if you wish to be in the display etc area.
Michael.

It was good to meet up with everyone at the Workshop Open Day. Seems most people thought I'd done pretty well getting my Mk2 which I'd taken along to the day on a trailer and got quite a few ideas and shared information with folk.
Look forward to meeting up with more Midas owners and fans in the near future including the two youngest new Midas recruits who are embarking on Mk1 rebuilds now and were at the open day. Great to see more people taking on these cracking little cars.
