Well Donington is less than three weeks away now so I thought it worth reviving the thread.

Complete Kit Car magazine have made an effort to make this more than just a kit car show, so with free entry to the races and a big discount off the Donington museum entry (a must-see if you haven't been before) it is well worth the trip.

So which day is the best one day will be the best to visit? i haven't made up my mind yet. I wonder if the race programme is available online?

I'm aiming to go up to this in my Midas. How about meeting up en route and forming a convoy. There's plenty of service stations at convenient points to meet at and it makes a drive a bit more entertaining for everyone including tin box drivers

I found the enjoyment of driving on British roads once again thanks to my Gold Coupe despite it being a tad grubby to say the least. So I'm making the trip in it up to Donnington, Got to keep pushing the range a bit more.

Would be good to see more people getting their Midas out on the roads to enjoy them and having a get together. Donnington's a great excuse and I'm more than happy to round up a group convoy anywhere along my route up from Dorset I think I may have 3 so far. Let's hear who is coming....

I'll be going but Dorset is a bit out of my way to "convoy" as I'm only 20 miles from donnington but I'll see you there anyway. Richard
