Classic Vehicle Restoration Show - Nov 4th and 5th - RB&W
Posted: Fri Oct 20, 2017 10:36 amThe weekend before we attend the "big show" at the NEC the club will be attending the Classic Vehicle Restoration Show at the Royal Bath & West showground, near Shepton Mallet.
This is a good opportunity for Midas owners in the South and South West to meet up, take a look at some classic cars, along with some kit cars and scout around the trade stands for those bits you're going to need as you tend to your car over the winter.
A couple of years ago the good people of Complete Kit Car magazine persuaded the show's organisers that a Kit car hall would add an extra element, particularly now that the Exeter Kit Car Show is but a distant memory. The Midas Owners Club was one of the clubs that responded to the invitation and enjoyed the show so much that we are now returning for a third time.
Shepton Mallet may not be not the central of locations, but is not too far off the M5, or the A303. So it is easily reached from the South, West and East. In fact one Reading based owner reckons it is easier for him to get to than the NEC!
