For the future. Photo shoot.

Postby johno » Wed May 16, 2018 7:18 pm

As I live not far from the Oldham factory where the Mini Marcos and Mk1's were produced I've had a word with the manager of the site (now a paper mill and distribution centre) about the possibility of having a photo shoot outside the factory as part of the 40th anniversary events. Its likely it will combine a run to the Oil Can cafe which by then will have re-located.
More info to follow, but likely to be spring next year.
We will need a minimum number as it's unrealistic to expect the site to open for us at a weekend if only one or two are going to turn up. site postcode is OL3 7HG
Oil Can Cafe website is http://thecardingshed.co.uk/ this is for the old site, click on the graphic for IK classic services to have the location of the new site. All should be up and running by the time we go.

If you are likely to attend please post a 'posibly' below so I can gauge interest.
Cheers

I rode my e-bike up past the new oil can cafe location last year, it's a steep climb that's for sure.

hmm could I get a Midas on the road by then. ...

I am up for it if it does not clash with anything else in the diary. I shall be going through Holmfirth tomorrow en route to Malham.
