Hi Folks,

Since we lost the list of mods to the hackers I thought I'd start a new thread where we can all post our mods, parts workarounds and enhancements to our cars.

MGF Seats in to a Mk2/3 - Cheap alternative to aftermarket seats
MX5 Seats into a Mk3 - cheap alternative to aftermarket seats
MGF / Rover 200 Heated Electric Door mirrors on Mk3 Convertible - Great enhancement for Alistairs new door frames
Land Rover Defender 90 front window runners on a Mk3 Convertible - Direct swap for the metro items which allows more movement with alistairs new frames
Rover Metro/100 Heater blower into a Mk3 - Adds a third speed to the heater
Door seal around the heater intake in the bonnet - Seals the blower from the engine bay
Rover Metro Instrument pod into a GTM onwards Mk3 convertible - Plug and play only 1 extra wire needed for versions with a clock.
MGF Rear view mirror - Adds a better interior light and map lights
Changed bore rear brake cylinders in Mk1/2 - Sorts out the brake bias issues
Metro Loom into a Bronze - Relatively easy to do and moves the fusebox inside the car and adds wiring for intermittant wipe, dim dip lights, central locking etc.
Pre 84 Metro uprights into a Mk1/2 - Easy mod which enables the used of the metro 4 pot calipers and vented disks
Twin point mini heater in a Mk1/2 - Straight swap adds an extra heater speed

Central locking solenoids - Metro, Maestro, Montego, Range Rover and Discovery
Metro coolant tank - Mini Twin point injection
Steering Lock Mk3 - Metro, Maestro, Montego
Hazard Switch Mk3 - Maestro Austin ambassador also probable Discovery / Range Rover
Alternator - Some transit models by rotating the case
